    Hanoi To Sapa Train

    Beside traveling to Sapa by Bus via New High Way , we also have other best ways to get there is to take the train from Hanoi to Lao Cai, Sapa has no railway station, but it’s about 38 km (24 miles) from Lao Cai railway station and easily reached from there by bus, jeep or taxi in about 50 minutes. There are both daytime and overnight sleeper trains between Hanoi & Lao Cai, and on the sleeper trains you can choose between the normal Vietnamese railways sleepers or a whole series of privately-run sleeping-cars of a higher standard aimed at tourists. The daytime route offers only hard seats, whereas travelers can enjoy soft-sleepers, Air-conditioned, four-berth cabins on the night trains… There is quite a selection of train available to Sapa so what’s the best train to take with more cleaner and comfortable... Below is my answer on what you are wanna ask before taking any decision to choose type of train for your Sapa Tour Package

    SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4: All run daily, recommended trains with very few stops. Air-conditioned soft sleepers, air-con hard sleepers, hard sleepers, air-con soft seats, soft seats, hard seats,

    SP1/SP2 also convey a whole series of privately-run sleeping-cars for tourists, including Fansipan Express ( Recommended ), Ratraco Express, Orient Express, Royal Express, TSC Express, Tulico Express , Green Express and Hara Express

    Victoria Express is unlike any trains running on the rail line between Hanoi and Lao Cai. With the schedule running six times a week and fares starting at $180 per person for a return trip, Victoria Express serves high-class travelers. It advertises itself as the leading train with one of the best-value on-time departure rate. A new Victoria Express offers you much more than you expect for good reason: one dining carriages with more seating capacity, and two sleeping carriages. Six superior and two deluxe cabins with four and two berths respectively are included in each sleeping carriage.

    However, Victoria train has a condition for its customers: only those staying at Victoria resort in Sapa can purchase the train ticket due to its limitted capacity.


    Evaluating tens of different trains, testing the quality of cabins and berths, flickering a judgmental eye over superlative properties, Sapaly Express Train is assessed as one of the must-book carriages to a vacation in Sapa.
